•  Description: This 7-day tour focuses on the Central Plains during the peak of tornado season, offering a front-row seat to some of the most dramatic weather events on the planet. Based in Kansas City, MO, you will chase storms across a wide region, ensuring the best opportunities to intercept powerful storm systems. Each day brings a new adventure as developing storm systems are tracked and positions are set for the best intercepts. Enjoy the comfort and safety of small groups (no more than 7 guests) with guaranteed window seats. An experienced guide will ensure you have an educational and thrilling experience, highlighting the science behind the storms and the beauty of the chase. Learn about meteorology, storm formation, forecasting techniques, and how to spot different types of clouds and weather phenomena. We aim to witness exciting weather events, including hail, wall clouds, shelf clouds, lightning displays, supercell thunderstorms, tornadoes, and much more. We strive to get as close to the action as possible while prioritizing safety.
    
•  Accommodation: Rooms are provided for 7 nights, including the arrival night (May 13th) and up to the night before the final tour day (May 20th) For any additional nights after the tour concludes, guests will need to arrange and pay for their own rooms.
 
• Return Time: The tour will conclude by 5:00 PM on the last day (May 12th). Please plan your departure accordingly.

•  Meals: Please note that meals are not included.
  
•  Weather Disclaimer: Storm chasing is highly weather-dependent, and while our expert forecasts aim to maximize encounters with severe weather, there may be “down days” due to calm conditions. We’ll reposition for the next system or explore local sites, ensuring an enjoyable experience even if storms don’t fully cooperate.

  • Shared Room Discount:

    Save $250 per person when sharing a room with someone you know.

    Select the appropriate occupancy price when checking out:

        •   Double Occupancy Price for 2 guests

        •   Triple Occupancy Price for 3 guests

        •   Quad Occupancy Price for 4 guests

     Note: Maximum of 4 guests per room

    Multiple Tours Discount:

        •   Save $200 off the total price when booking two or more consecutive tours.

     

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot on the tour.

    Balance Payment: The remaining balance for the tour is due by March1st. If the full payment is made at the time of booking, it is refundable minus the $500 deposit if canceled before March 1st.

    Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made before March 1st will receive a refund of any payments made, minus the $500 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made on or after March 1st  are non-refundable.

    No-Show Policy: If a participant does not show up for the tour, all payments made will be non-refundable.
