Based in Kansas City, MO, this tour takes you through prime storm-chasing territories, where you expect to encounter massive rotating thunderstorms and potentially tornadic activity. Small groups (no more than 7 guests) ensure a personalized experience, with guaranteed window seats for the best views. Learn about storm dynamics, the science of forecasting severe weather, and how to spot different types of clouds and weather phenomena. We aim to witness awe-inspiring weather events, such as hail, wall clouds, shelf clouds, lightning displays, supercell thunderstorms, tornadoes, and much more. Book Your Own Lodging (Budget-Friendly Option): You’ll be in charge of booking each night’s hotel within roughly 5 miles of our target stop. We’ll confirm the overnight location by early evening. This approach suits anyone wanting to use points, find lower rates, or just have more control over their lodging.
